My understanding is that V4 SAL (stand alone) includes the both CMOS correction and stabilization. The V4 plug-ins are two components, CMOS and stabalizaton, and if you have V4 SAL already then the cost for both plugins (the V4 suite comprised of Mercalli V4 CMOS for Edius and Mercalli V4 Stabilizer for Edius)) is US$99 (less any ProDAD coupon you might have). I believe the Edius version of Mercalli still came with V6.0, but not with V6.5. Checking my Edius 5.0 packaging, there is mention of a serial number issue wherein users were advised to D/L an update/service pack (for Mercalli V1) from the Edius web page to correct a serial number nag. It sounds as though a separate serial/license key was not required for that version of Mercalli.

All that is there is the VPX download link and serial number, and the pdf file. Included with the software is ProDAD Mercalli V2, along with the.
It looks like Mercalli Pro V2 plug-in was a paid upgrade, as was the V2 SAL version. They came with 28-character license keys codes. My understanding is that V4 SAL (stand alone) includes the both CMOS correction and stabilization.

Though I'm really not sure if I would need the SAL version as I would always tend to use it within EDIUS. All a bit confusing and I'd love for them to clarify the situation on the 'special' upgrade pricing that is impossible to unlock.
I don't think they realize how running this 'promo' could actually alienate people would would be willing to pay the upgrade price if we could actually unlock it.
